The FD-M-R-A and FD-M-L-A Fire Damper Models are UL Listed motorized dampers designed to help prevent the spread of fire through HVAC systems. When activated, the damper closes in response to a signal from the UL Listed fire sensor connected to the UL Listed actuator. When the temperature at the damper exceeds the 165°F tripping temperature, the fire sensor activates the motorized actuator, moving the damper to its safe position for effective fire protection.
